      DG834 Router

I have the standard wireless router that Sky ship, and I have my Wii and 360 connecting Wirelessly with no problem. However, I now want to add a Dell PC to my wireless network, so I dug out an old Netgear PCI card that I had (MA311), and plugged it into my Dell, and then tried connecting to the Wireless network, but I cant get it to connect. It sees my SKY network, but when I try to connect and put in the 8 digit password shown in my Sky Router config screen, it tells me that it should be either 5 or thirteen characters. Is this because the PCI card I am using can only use WEP, whereas the Sky Router is using WPA?

hi CHANGE YOUR ROUTER SETTINGS TO WEP and you should be able to connect heres the steps

1 log in to your router 192.168.0.1
      2 enter ADMIN the SKY
      3 click wireless settings
4 scroll down and change the encryption to WEP
      5 enter a unquie phrase
      6 then click apply
7 log on to the internet via your laptop and enter the phrase you came up with.
