      can utorrent cause this problem? i am using cfos and i saw more than 400 connection on cfoss just when i disconnected.

      can high number of connections cause this?

      Torrents could cause drop outs I think by swamping the connection. You should really restrict the download/upload speed if you want to do other things while using torrents. It will be easy enough to check, just disable your torrents for a couple of days and see what happens.

      If you are using the Windows manager, right click the 'monitor' icon in the tray and select 'View available networks' Then click 'Change order of preferred Networks' on the left pane. Highlight the networks that are not your own and click 'Remove'. Your adapter should then stop finding them.

      One other point, if you are on Base, as your Profile says, you will almost certainly be exceeding your allowance if you are using torrents. At the moment Sky do not appear to be taking any action, but as their customer base grows, they almost certainly will in the future. As Base is free, it is almost certain to be hit first so if you are intent on using torrents, you would be better upgrading.
