are you saying you have been using the netgear adapters and they both stopped working ?

or are you saying you used to use them on your previous ISP connection and when you now try them they do not work ?

(also what was the bit about cable into your room ?

when i was with aol they worked and they wont work with sky. becouse they wont open up. (when i click on the programme it wont load up)

as for the cable. i have a 10m cable (ithink anyway) that runs from downstairs up to my room then into my routor jst so i can get the internet. thats why i need help sorting this problem out so the routor can stay downstairs again and i be wireless again.

      in short

BOTH wireless adater proggrames wont load. i tryed re-installing them but nothing.

      Re: netgear usb adapter help

I had problems with netgear's wireless adaptor software, so I used the windows driver instead, which did work.
Uninstall the Netgear software, reboot, go online via ethernet, then plug in the wireless adaptor.
Then let the windows wizard sort out the driver for you.

If I recall the netgear software screwed up my login and log off screens, there was a work around but I can't remember where it was. Have upgraded to a Vista machine since.

Or if you want to try netgears software again download the latest version from their site.
