      lots of errors

      just bough the other half a laptop for chrimbo and using it wirelessly its got a poor wireless signal and the modem is showing loads of errors ( unable to post em yet as router had to be rebooted post some later) can a poor wireless singal make loads of errors and cause the noise margin to drop so low it freezes drops down to 6.0 sometimes reboots with bounce sky router

      SNR and errors are on the phone line side of the router, a poor signal may cause connection trouble, but not errors on the line,

      can you post your full stats?

      as for early chrimbo pressy thought id be smart giving her it early so i could av my sky plus box early but no joy can get it installed till 27th dec cost £70 could av had it from currys for £50 first time went into shop wifey says no u have to buy a telly first so thought leave it a day or 2 go back see a diffrent sales assistant goes back asks the guy if i could av sky + for £50 he say yeah we r not supposed to tho unless u buy a telly but will sort u out other half come strolling over says did u get the sky plus then yeah i said all sorted she replies i thought u had to buy a new tv first eveyone in shop hears her so he gets susicous and says hold on i'll just go check see if we can give u one with out selling you a tv you can guess his reply no sorry u need to buy a new tv to get the sky+ deal so the laptop nearly got sold on ebay and she nearly got bog all for chrimbo
