Wirless Network Key Help
Hi, I Am Trying To Connect To My Sky Wirless Router And Wen Prompted To Enter My Network Key, I Enter The One Which Came With Sky Broadband And It Says There Is Not Enough Letters In The Network Key, But It Is The Only Network Key I Was Provided With. What Can I Do, Or Do I Have To Ring The Broadband Provider.

it should be stuck on the router (sticker with mac address i think) you should also of had a card (about the size of a credit card) with the details on (i think the card should still come with the router

Not enough letters may be pointing to your connection not being right for WPA PSK, If you are sure you have typed in the network key correctly in CAPITALS and it still says not enough characters then you need to get the ethernet cable out, go to 192.168.0.1 and turn your wireless encryption down to WEP or Off to see if the wireless connection will then work. Best bet is to call Sky T1 if you cannot work out what to do as they can talk you through it.

As armitasp has said I think you are trying to enter a WPA key for WEP. WPA uses passphrase and so would allow just 2 characters as well as30 or 40 etc.
WEP requires a minimum of 10 hex key characters (64bit) in order to work. Look at the advanced configuration properties and select WPA-PSK instead of WEP.Regards,
