It is my wireless after all

      Hi guys,

I posted a thread today complaining about my poor speeds of late. When i got a reply the guy asked if it was only with my wireless setting i was having trouble, i said it wasnt, and that it was with my ethernet too. I have just ran a few speed checks, both wireless and ethernet. I got about 1700kbps wireless, and almost 6000kbps ethernet...........any ideas guys ???

      cheers

      stay wired

wireless gets interference from everywhere (dect phones/power lines/microwave/other wireless users / and most other things) have you tried changing the channel (try to keep as far away from other channels your neighbours may be on) also could try moving router/ariel position

Re: It is my wireless after all

      Hi,

Tried changing channels, changed from 1 to 9, to 11. Tried moving the arial, but still the same. I appreciate what your saying about the ethernet, but to be honest its more convenient for me to be wireless. Any other advise would be great.

      cheers
