When using wireless on kids pc keeps disconnecting.

Pc been on all day with the wireless active.
Used my N95 via the connection too, no problems.
He came home and played for a while then the "wireless" crashed the router forcing a re-boot.

Can his card in the pc do it?

Not sure his wireless would crash the router (but no expert on wireless), i would normaly have said it was down to line errors, the stats you have posted are not long enough to comment on, could you re-post later

I can post later, but it's too much of a coincidence for it not to be.

cracking bit of kit re-boots the router too if it messes up

Re: When using wireless on kids pc keeps disconnecting.

I don't think it is the wireless that is causing the drop out, simply the other connection coming on line is doing it. Your SNR is far too low, suggesting that you need to improve your internal wiring or that your phone line is generating too much noise. I think your line as it stands needs capped. You can do this yourself by using the Mognuts utility to set the SNR a good bit higher. Set it to 10 or 12 for a start and see how it goes.

on a random note - you're on Connect, not Mid, so might be worth changing your profile for future reference
