      Netgear Wireless Card

Having wireless problems and before I start getting a leg out of bed can some kind person confirm that the wireless adapter/card I have in my PC is compatible with the Sky (Netgear) supplied Router.

      The card is a WG311 v3 802.11g

      Thanks in anticipation

      Re: Netgear Wireless Card

Yes it certainly is compatible with the router. When you install this, you have the option to use the netgear tool or a little XP utility called Windows Zero Configuration. Speaking from a personal point of view(and i am sure that people on this board will disagree with me), i prefer to use the netgear utility because you have a lot more control over the connection(and i like to play!). However, if you want a set it and leave it, then use Windows Zero Configuration, which is a more limited option. But to answer your question, yes it is compatible with the router. Just make sure that you put the correct network key into whatever software you use to establish the connection.
