Upgraded to 108Mbps Adaptor No Difference!

      Hi
I have been with Sky for 2 months now and am very happy with the service (Mid) I decided to upgrade from a Netgear WG111 54Mbps to a WG111T 108Mbps however there is no improvement in download speed at all infact I think it has slowed down. I have set router to Auto 108 used the tcp optimizer prog and still not getting any faster, was i expecting too much? Other router settings which may be usefull?

      Cheers

      Rich

      hello,

the 108mbps only applys to transfer speed between your PC and the router. it won't affect the speed of your internet connection
