Can connect to router over wireless, but no internet?

Ok, sky broadband activated last night, connected fine over network cable, enabled wireless and all was working, so uploaded my old routers settings and everything was fine to start with over wireless too.

just f'ing knew it was too good to be true for this good start to last...

hoping someone may be able to shed some light on this. internet works fine over network cable, but internet will just NOT work no matter what I try over my wireless. Was working last night even after I had changed settings to the same as my old router over wireless, then it just stopped and even when I factory restored last night and about 10 times today, no luck.

I am able to connect to the router over wireless EVERY TIME so the wireless connection is there, just no internet but when I perform a DNS lookup in the router settings I get an IP address returned, does this mean it is connected? I would assume so, cos the internet is going through the router for sure. So why do NO web pages get returned any longer over wireless?

This is driving me mad, please help

It would help if you mention what equipment you are using.

yeh apologies for not including the detail, but its sorted now. turned out it was my DHCP settings, at some point when I was with Virgin ADSL I had hardcoded IP and DNS values for my wireless and it was working fine, but when Imoved to sky they didnt work, however when set these to auto assign everything is now working again.
