      Re: sky wireless adapter

Have you tried applying the WPA wireless encryption passphrase to the wireless adapter's utilities ? The passphrase is printed on a label on the router.

      Re: sky wireless adapter

Connect to the router by ethernet and open the user interface via Internet Explorer (see help files on Sky CD or tutorials on this site). Once in, disable wireless encryption in router. Exit and disable encryption on adapter. If you can then connect wirelessly, figure out what you were doing wrong with the encryption and reapply it.

      Re: sky wireless adapter

Encryption stuff in the wireless section under security -- refers to WPA and WEP

Don't disable wireless access point or you'll have no wireless.

      Re: sky wireless adapter

Once logged in to the router
      Click Wireless Settings
The 4th item down is Security Options
      Click Disable
