      Encryption Issue

Originally when I received SKY Broadband I managed to get 1 desktop, 2 laptops and an XBox all to connect with WPA-PSK BUT a 3rd laptop would never connect.

3 months 'down the line' - without any changes to any machines except perhaps a power outage to the router I lost connection from the desktop and 1 of the laptops. Have tried for days to get these to reconnect - no joy.

If I disable all security (which I don;t want to do), ALL machines connect instantly. I've tried the weaker encryption WEP 128 then 64 bit and still can't get all machines to connect.

      Why can't I get WPA-PSK to connect

Am very seriously considering going back to NTL (Virgin) - I never had any wireless issues in nearly 2 years.

      Re: Encryption Issue

I know this may sound silly, But are you typing in the key correctly? (WPA-PSK) As I found out the hard way, The Key Windows had stored was incorrect and still typing it, I was getting it wrong.
      e.g, i and l getting muddled.

Also, Make sure there isnt to MAC Access Control on.

      Thanks for the response....

      Definately spelling the key correctly.

What were you referring to re MAC control on?
