I have to lose the wires, but problems. Can anyone help out??

      Hi

Using the "How To" guide here I have configured the router as described with one execption, nothing appears in "My Available Wireless Stations"

I have tried Manually entering the info. I have entered the Mac info for both my PC and the Wireless Card (BT 1040) as I wasnt sure which one goes in. However nothing happens with either info typed in

The Wireless Card doesnt pick up the Connection, I went into the Utility to manage the connection from there but still no difference

Any ideas what I could do??

      Thanks

I know it sounds silly but is the wireless on in the router?

If it is not picking up the wireless connection, it could be that the router is not sending it out. Has a neighbour got a wireless enabled PC you could try scanning on for your connection?

No, sadly none of the human ones do, some of the others I dare not ask Might have to borrow a friends card and see if there is a prob with the Wireless card!
