Has anyone any experience of using this wireless router with Sky broadband?
I've tried but can't seem to get this router to recognise the Sky b/b signal. It worked fine with my old virgin.net broadband and I'd like to try it on Sky since the supplied Netgear router is obviously no good!

Re: Bt 1800hg
Have you extracted the sky user name and password? If not the other router whatever make will not connect to the internet via Sky broadband. See sky user links on the right, 'stickywiki' and see using your own router. By the way you will be in breach of T&C of the sky b band contract.
Or let Sky know the route is dead and they might send you another one?Rosie

Yes I've got the sky user name and password, from Mosseywell's Bouncer prog.
Being in breach of T&C isn't any more of a problem because Sky are too, in not providing a suitable service.
I've told tier 3 about it and am still awaiting some more input from them. If their modem worked I wouldn't need to use another one.
But it doesn't!
