      It does seem to be that when things go wrong they really do go wrong!

      Must be very frustrating, especially as there is not much you can do apart from keep on ringing them up!

      Well, I have had the opposite luck today. I had 2 letters arrive from Sky offering my Username & Password and an Installation date of 28/12 (allow 3 days due to huge demand) and also the Router.

      I hope things speed up for you NR and that things stay on track for me.

      tbh I am not that fussed at present, my broadband with F2S is paid until 23rd January, I have a router and an internet connection (not gloating on those with no internet connection)

      When I do finally get connected I will be saving 20.00 per month, or 240.00 per year, which in simple terms is a load of games for my Xbox or nearly 500 bottles of beer

      Another day.... Another letter.....

      Dear NewsreadeR

      Unfortunately there is a problem with your Sky Broadband order, and we have been unable to reach you by phone to discuss it.

      We can't progress your order until we speak with you so its really important to get in touch with us on 08700 248930 ........

      First of all, they have not tried to ring, I have been off work for the last 6 weeks and so would have heard the phone.

      So I rang them.

      Have you had your broadband box? Nope

      Sorry that letter was sent in error.

      Can you give me a connection date? No

      So there was just no point in me calling them.

      How many more times are Sky/BT going to get connections so wrong for customers. Its not just an isolated case, this forum is full of similar stories!

      Yet when they do get it right, its very good!
