If you look at my order on here about 35 pages back, that is the same sort of info I was given.

The fact it was completed the same day, would suggest your order was rejected by BT.

Re: Should I Order Sky BB? Fell at first hurdle...

The info I have been given by PM on here is that it is BT that is rejecting them, not because the MAC is wrong but to do with product compatibility.

This is quite feasible and I am convinced it has something to do with BT and a failed / incorrectly entered MAC which confuses BT's end.

I know my order has been resynced, numerous times and I know my order failed again yesterday, even after I spoke to Steve. Somehow it has been sorted today, which is the bit I do not know how, but however it was sorted I would assume the same needs to be done for yourself.

The problem should not be existent, it should just work, as the MAC comes from BT anyway, so if they give the format, you would expect the MAC to be accepted by them.

I am trying to find out some more info, but not a lot more is forthcoming.

Re: Should I Order Sky BB? Fell at first hurdle...

Called Sky again today they says its an issue with my echange. So i called BT and they said there is no issue but we havent seen any orders go on your line.

So i guess Sky is lieing again and thats why my MAC code has experied. Now i just signed upto the BT order checker and it looks like Eclipise Internet may of put me on their LLU service before they even gave me a letter stating their was a switch over.

      4th December

Description Product name Quantity Cost Rental
PROVIDE LLU LINE SHARE PSTN 1 0.0 0.0
      CEASE BT IPSTREAM MAX 1 0.0 0.0

7th Decmeber (dated 6th on the letter)

Eclipse is moving to LLU bla bla bla if you do not chose to Opt-out before the 22nd of December you will be moved. I chose to opt-out on the 7th

      Sam Knows:

However, you already have ADSL on your line. To move to another broadband provider you need to obtain a MAC (Migration Access Code) from your existing provider.

Your BT ADSL code is: REGEGEC

      Rather than LLU information

Is my problem even bigger now? Waiting for a new MAC Code. Eclipse stated im not on their LLU product on the 15th Also BT said I'm on their "new-equipment" (havent a clue? also verified on the 15th) But i dont think they would of occured on the 4th as that was the day before i recieved my MAC Code!
