i've been in 2 minds whether to mention this since i joined skyuser.

as 1 of probably only very few people that use a ps3 browser here, i thought it'd be a bit silly, as i bet it's just a limitation of the console, however as you are restructuring at the moment anyway, here goes.

      1) after clicking 'submit reply' i am taken to a blank page with 'invalid url' & 'http error 400'. my way out of this is to back page, click 'forum', then navigate my way back from there.
      2) if i am logged in, to view a thread i have to 'go the long way round' ie: click title, sub forum title, thread. if i try to go straight to a thread, or any page number of it, i get the url & http message above. this doesn't happen if i am logged out.
      3) this 1 is new, as of the site move. if i click 'reply to thread', the loading icon next to 'quick reply' just spins & clicking anything else at this point freezes my system. my way of posting is to click 'reply' in the box of the last post, then 'advanced'. again, this only happens if i am already logged in.

none of this is a problem for me at all & i'm sure you can appreciate why i'd feel a bit stupid if you spent any time looking into this. i just thought that if you currently 'have your head in the code', it might be good to know.

Another thing that might be improved is the contrast/colour/visibility of hyperlinks. These are not showing up as well on the new forum as the old one and may be passed over, especially by newbies.

Hmm... You should consider getting an External Blu-Ray upgrade then. They hold far more memory than the 8" floppies ever could. Although you may also wish to consider getting an SDXC Memory Card reader installed. This would allow you to store up to around 2TB in the future, considerably more than the 79.5KB on your floppy diskette.

      i'm afraid not scubbie.
when it comes to all things browser related, ps3 owners are at the mercy of sony & their firmware updates.
if that wasn't the case, i'd be running chrome, latest flash & have full html5 compatibility, nevermind java!
i was really only posting fyi as i'm in a microscopic minority here.
      i'll grow up & buy a computer 1 day!

No problem and no offence was intended. As I don't have a PS3 I am not aware of the issues that owners experience. The suggestion was reasonable.

It may also be worth pointing out that there are 3 options to posting new messages now. Could I suggest that you play around on the thread that has been set up for members to mess about in?

      Thread to mess about in...

Two options are available when posting. The third is available in your settings. Scroll down to 'Miscellaneous Options' and take a look under the heading 'Message Editor Interface'.
