      SkyUser Launches O2User

Since our inception, we have always wanted to provide a website, that concentrates on helping our guests and our members.

With SkyUser, we have more than achieved any goals that we had set ourselves, and are constantly trying to improve our facilities and are constantly upgrading our software to the latest, most up to date, and more functionalities.

As a few of our original members have since changed from Sky as an ISP, over to O2, it is only fair for us to provide a meeting ground for O2Users as well. (We had the domain anyway) Therefore we would like to announce officially for those of you who didn't already know, our brand new site O2User.

As you can appreciate, SkyUser is funded by the adverts that we show, and not by asking for any monies off our members. Therefore, we will continue to show adverts on O2User to give us chance to further enhance and develop O2User as the funds allow, and eventually, the new site, will acquire its own brand and unique identity.

Our goal with O2User, is exactly the same as SkyUser, to help people. SkyUser is about to undertake a makeover in the form of a new look and branding, and as a result we will use the old look of SkyUser on O2User, until such time that it takes off.

We have asked Gary aka Saturday to be in charge of O2User in the form of Super Moderator, and are pretty much giving him free reign to build up a new community of O2 and Be* customers.

Just like SkyUser, everybody is welcome, and you are more than welcome to join us, even if you are on a different ISP. The community will be shaped around what the members want, as well as plenty of well written articles, a speedtester, and a few other helpful tools.

We have a few more developments coming your way very soon, which we will be announcing in the near future, watch this space.....

Gone over there to register, although as I am still a Sky TV customer I'll still be lurking over here as well.

Will o2 user also cover the mobile phone part of O2 or just the broadband?
I'm a PC, and Windows 7 Backup saved my sanity when BitDefender imploded !!!

We have added a Mobile help section, although to be honest I wouldn't have a clue, as I use Orange.

Hopefully a few members can help out on that side of it. It would be nice to cover all O2 products and services though.

      It would.

A few mobile broadband users/experts would be good too - I don't think there's much help out there for the less tech savvy customers.

      Re: SkyUser Launches O2User

      Hey chaps,

Has anything happened to O2User I get a URL not found whenever I have tried to browse there today, and I'm not sure if it's an O2 issue or the site is down.

      Cheers.

PS If anyone has any issues with mobile broadband, drop me a PM either here or at o2user and I'll do what I can to help - I've used T-Mobile's for a couple of years and Vodafone (yuck) before that as part of my day to day business related duties and I've had the pain of it as well as the convenience it provides
