New logo required for SkyUser

We are currently working on our new look SkyUser forum skin.

The existing logo is one that was designed for us in a competition we ran here:

Which was slightly rehashed on the last upgrade.

If you feel like you could make a fresh new look logo, please attach your entry to this thread.

If your entry is the winning logo, we will reward you with a £50 postal order / Paypal payment, for your trouble. As well as this, the logo will then be integrated into our new look skin, until the next redesign. (normally we update our site once a year)

A few requirements and the rules:

• The logo needs to be rectangular (if square we can probably manipulate it to fit the header)
  
• It would need to be in .psd format
  
• It should clearly state the words 'Sky' 'User'
  
• It would need to be light coloured
  
• Size wise would be 280x131 px at the most - although it would be great if this could be scalable
  
• The logo would become our property, upon publishing in our header
  
• It cannot be someone else's logo, redone, for absolute clarity, please do not use another website or company's logo to make ours
  
• The competition is open to absolutely anyone who visits SkyUser, staff, admins, mods and guests, as well as normal members are free to enter
  
• You can enter as many times as you wish
  
• The winning design will be chosen by a short list of the entries, and then added to a poll, for the members to choose the winning design. Myself and Glenn having the final vote, in the event of a tie
  
• We do not guarantee to actually use any of the submitted entries, and we reserve the right to approach a graphics design artist, if any entries are not what we really want. (in this scenario - we would still award a prize of a £20 postal order / Paypal payment for the chosen winner of the poll) Although we would prefer it if a member did actually design the winning entry for us to use.
  
• Entries are open and invited for at least 14 days or so as from 30th September 2008. We reserve the right to extend this deadline if necessary.

what theme are you looking for water, sky, blue , silver ,ect

The new forum will be hopefully, this sort of colour. Therefore it would need to be a light colour, but one that could be reversed if we wanted to use on a white background, I guess.

As long as it has the words 'Sky' and 'User' in it, you're free to come up with a unique design.

This is roughly the size of where the logo will fit.
