SkyUser - A refresh of the website

Behind the scenes we have been working hard to give SkyUser a fresh new look.

Whilst the final design is not 100% finished, we are not far off it and have therefore opened it out for everybody to test and give us some feedback.

Please list any issues you have in this thread so that we can resolve these asap.

looks good so far, only thing for me is the left hand side has all info that used to be on the right hand side (member centre/quick links/ect) i'm used to reading from left to right and every time i open a page the first thing i'm looking at is the links, bit hard on the eyes at the mo, but i'm sure i could get used to it

Re: SkyUser - A refresh of the website

Once finished, you should be able to choose the new old style from your UserCp, in options. You can also change the default look by choosing SkyUser from the bottom left hand corner, however this is hit or miss at the moment as to if it will work or not.

The new look is defaulted to all users and is SkyUserV2

Very nice, I don't think we appreciate what is going on behind the scenes to improve the forum. The left hand index will take a bit of time to get used to, but most sites favour this side for indices so it will not be difficult. Once again a big.

Re: SkyUser - A refresh of the website

I think one of the main benefits of having the panels on the left, Is if someone was to post a large image in their post, It wouldnt ruin the layout, As previously it would shut the panel to the site and then effect the navbar aswell.

I guess that wont be a problem anymore.

Re: SkyUser - A refresh of the website

Just noticed something, I thought it would be best to post on the open forum, So if anyone else has this then they could input aswell.

After clicking the O2 Broadband Ad, It all loaded into a little box where the ad was, Surely that should open in a new page or something?

Cant replicate it as so far I have only got the Sky Ad.
