It makes me angry that its not "PC" to be proud of where you live. We live in Britain and so should be proud of everything British, so not to have the Red Arrows at the British Olympics is a slap in the face of who we are and our heritage.

The Govenment on all levels are too scared to stand up and say anything that may offend anyone....well its time to change that.

So count me in on the fund raising and lets show the world what its like to be British.

Re: Red Arrows booked for the London Olympics?

Thanks for the offers of help guys.

This is one thing we are deadly serious about. Although we are a help and support forum, we are all capable of giving an opinion. I feel strongly about this, as to be honest, The Red Arrows are truly breathtaking and an opportunity like this to show other countries how you can achieve something like this, just cannot be missed.

As for the Member's News item that was submitted yesterday, all I can say is that I was very disappointed to receive such comments.

Yes, we are an unofficial help and support site for Sky, however we each have our own values. We are not afraid to publish them on our site or the Internet. We have over 5000 visitors a day, the more people we can reach the better. So forgive me if I do not publish your comments.

The Red Arrows are a team, and demonstrate with ease that the unthinkable is achievable. What these guys do (as well as their behind the scenes team) is truly amazing and something that us as Brits can be proud of.

SkyUser as a team have achieved more than what we ever set out to do so, which goes to show, anything is possible when you have the right mindset.

If the Olympics Committee would let us organise the opening ceremony, it would be, as if Carlsberg were in charge.

Would that be "Probably the most drunk party opening ceremony of all time"?

Team Orlik is an aerobatic demonstration team of the Polish Air Force which displays using nine PZL-130 Orlik aircraft which gives the team its name. The team is based at Radom-Sadkow in Poland. The team members are volunteers and they represent the 2nd Basic Flying Training Centre from Radom.

We may have to, The Red Arrows have not accepted or responded to our booking yet.
