      Can it get any worse?

Virgin has recently announced that from July it will be charging 25p/minute for calls to its broadband support line. In an e-mail to customers last week, it explains the huge call volumes its support teams are facing about "other issues not related to [their] service" which it claims are not practical for them as a business to sustain.

So anyone that does have an issue about their service has to pay through the nose.

I assume that is the Charge from a VM line? Imo, It will be most likely higher from a BT line?

Sounds like Virgin's joining the rest of them-no surprise there then.

Isnt that what BT were saying? Then they launched,
BT.com | Personal | BT Home IT Call

Still, There Dedicated Broadband Team charges never went down - well afaik they didnt.

Re: Can it get any worse?

Virgin have completely lost the plot if they think they can get away with using a premium rate number when Ofcom is looking at the whole extra charges thing.

When I was with NTHell it was bad enough phoning them up when I lost my internet and being told that I had to use the online checker and they got so confused when I said I couldn't becuase I had no internet signal!! (there was no cable internet signal so there had to be a problem at NTL somewhere)

It's almost as if the smooth running of the company is being messed up by all those customers they have.
