Unfortunately, the customer services people, whether they agree or don't with this approach, are on the front line and don't always have the briefing or training to deal with the problems of naturally frustrated customers. This is a failure on the part of Sky and not the poor frontline individuals concerned.

The fact that this site, and various others, exist and 'civilians', through sheer altruism, are having to help each other other out must indicate that Sky is not offering an acceptable level of customer service. I'm pretty much stuck with Sky due to reception and TV options in my area. If not, I would bin them immediately. Every single time I have to contact Sky, I come off the phone so annoyed and frustrated I would kick the cat if I had one (and I'm a very, very mild sort of person). And I'm keeping Sky shareholders in champagne for that priviledge.
      I second these comments
