We have had loads of requests to run a Community Radio Station, many people have expressed an interest and would like to get involved playing music and presenting Live Shows.
We are proud to announce as from 1st June 2007, we will be launching SkyUser Radio. Initially we will be broadcasting live over the Internet 24 hours a day, with a mixture of Live Shows and also some preprogrammed content.
We have now secured a Licence with PRS and PPL and have a Shoutcast server in place and are currently testing with the presenters etc.
Also today, we received our Identity / Jingle package for the SkyUser Radio Station, ie Station Branding. Initial reports from those lucky enough to be invited to beta test have been awesome.
We plan on doing a full variety of musical tastes, right through from the 1960's to present day and are open to any suggestions that people may put forwards to us to implement.
We also have a dedicated SkyUser Radio forum here:
Please get involved
Also we are looking for a Major Sponsor to help us subsidise SkyUser Radio, if you feel you can help, in the form of a Company donation / Website Sponsorship deal please PM myself.
