The old Sky SMTP servers would appear to have been decommissioned today. All references to smtp.sky.com will no longer work.

Outlook 2003
Tools > Email Accounts > Add > POP3
Under Logon Information put the name that was on the letter you received from Sky, followed by the password.

You can then test it using the button provided.
Outlook Express
Tools > Accounts > Mail Tab > Add...Mail




Input your Sky supplied Username and Password here:

Mail on Mac OSX
When you launch Mail for the first time, or when you are adding a new account, you will see the New Account Window. Set the Account type to "POP3".
Account Description can be whatever you wish.
Enter your name, then your email address, then click Continue

Enter your incoming mail server and your Sky username.
Enter your password if you wish. Click Continue. Mail will attempt a connection to the mail server to check the validity of the server and ID.

Use the following SMTP server information. No password needed.

You will see a verification screen where you can verify that your information is correct. Once you have verified your information, you will see the following screen. Click Done, and you're ready to go.
