No probs. Thanks for the feedback. A new multi-threaded version is nearly complete - with a couple of minor extra features. (It is architecturally much better, which keeps me happy.) Hi, Very new in this forum and not massively technical, But this looked interesting so i have downloaded the app. Just need a little explanation on what to do when i run the app or is everythig automatic.

Assuming you haven't changed the router user name and password and IP address, you just run it and, er, well that's it really. It'll take care of the rest.

Jose - I wondered where you'd got to, so, in your absence I decided that as you weren't around to do all the cool stuff (like you usually do), I'd have to do something vaguely, worthwhile myself just to keep things interesting.

EDIT: I've nailed (I think) the bug in the new version, so it'll be out soon.

Oh I'm sure someone else would likely have stumbled across the same idea. I'm not that cool.

Now if only I had more ideas on a regular basis that made me that little bit richer I could dump this thing called work that keeps me away from this fun board.

I've finally finished the new version of this tool. It's pretty much a complete re-write although it looks much the same.

A few things:

1. I've called it version 1.0.0, but until I've had some bug reports back, best to treat it as beta code. (It works for me, but having overhauled it, there are bound to be a few minor snagettes!)

2. Please keep it within the technical community for now for two reasons:
- I haven't written the help, so I'm assuming you know what you're doing!
- For reason 1. I don't want to make it more widely available to non-technical people until the bugs (if there are any ) have been squashed.

Do PM me with your thoughts.

Yet another new version. This one fixes a small bug and adds a small bit of functionality. If you have a previous version, I recommend installing this instead as this one seems to be (on my PC anyway) solid. Enjoy.

Alright mate, using your tool, its very good as some people in my family dunno what to do when the internet goes down.

One thing though, when you press alt-tab, it is shown in there and if you select it, the window comes up saying "you should not see this", just to let you know!
