What Router Does One Get with Sky Broadband Connect?

The same as LLU, presently the Sagemcom 2504N.

But how does it connect as when Sky have LLU in one's exchange it goes over Sky's network, whereas with Connect it goes over BT Wholesale's infastructure. In that case, surely it can only be a static username and password.

One's router on LLU / Connect just plugs into one's phoneline.

If one is fortunate enough to get Sky Fibre, then one's Sagemcom would then plug into one's BT modem.

One would assume, that Sky somehow has control of some authentication details for Connect from the Sagemcom router and allows one's customers to connect / authenticate that way.

Although it connects through the BT network, it authenticates with the Sky servers. It is somewhat similar to Sky Fibre connecting through BT Infinity's infrastructure.
