That's a bummer, it says it is available for all home routers. You can get a TFTP server here-Apparently there is no recovery tool for the 3800! Advised to use tftp.

Problem solved. Netgear have got their finger out & 'fixed' the problem by regressing the NTFS upgrade in a new firmware. About to install it. Fingers crossed!
