Sky Router Tool - V1.1
Sky router tool allows you to log various details from your sky router (bandwidth usage, signal to noise ratio margin and errors), display advanced ADSL line graphs and more! It now supports the first 3 routers released by sky (Netgear DG834GT (Sky V1, white), Netgear DG934G (Sky V2, black) and Sagem F@ST 2504 (Sky V3, black).
Sagem F@ST support now included! (Firmware update required)
For Sagem support you need to flash the custom firmware available at Custom Sky V2.8 Firmware for Sky V3 Sagem F@ST 2504 router. If you choose to do this make sure you read all the warnings on that page carefully!
Features
Change Log:- Supports the first 3 routers provided by Sky
- Works with stock sky firmware. No firmware updating required!**
- Fully AJAX web interface
- Bandwidth usage, ADSL Error and SNR margin logging
- Advanced statistics display, including full SNR and Bit Loading graphs*
- Ability to alter the target SNR margin on the router*
- Speed testing tool which runs from the router
- Full router process listing
- Uses password-protected HTTP to connect to the router instead of telnet
- Sky Username, Password, SSID, Wireless Password and Default Channel calculator for both the DG834GT and the DG934G (calculated from LAN MAC address and serial)
* Target SNR margin altering and the advanced SNR, QLN and Attenuation graphs are not supported for the DG934G (black Netgear).
** The Sagem requires a slightly altered sky firmware to be flashed

Initial Release
CreditsAfter installation just run the application, right click the tray icon, click configuration, select settings and fill in the required details.
The first username and password can be set to anything you want and will be used to log into the Sky Router Tool web admin (giving a blank username will remove the password protection, although this is not recommended).
The second username and password must be set to the username and password used to log in to your router.
The web interface can be accessed by going to localhost or by double clicking the tray icon.
If you are using a router other than the DG834GT (White), you will need to change the router type setting. This can be done from the web interface by clicking "Settings" then "Router Connection" and changing the router type to match your make of router.
Download :The web interface uses the jQuery javascript library for DOM manipluation.
The flot javascript library is used to render the graphs.
The Json.NET C# library is used to generate the JSON output from the server.
Thanks to Dave-H for helping test the .net2.0 version.
Thanks to David Aspden for help creating support for the DG934G.
All downloads can be found at Sky Router Tool - Downloads.

Re: Sky router tool
Very impressive, thanks

Your telnet enabling method also seems to make the DMT Tool work again too, which is a bonus.
What is the URL you are using to enable telnet, as the Mognuts one I've got bookmarked doesn't work with the 1.03.87 firmware..
Cheers!

Thanks for the sticky
. I have updated the application again to v0.3, you can now create and save reports (they look like: Sky Broadband Connection Report - 19:48 01/08/2009).

Re: Sky router tool
Awesome tool. Thanks for sharing.
A couple of change requests if I may:
An option on the Net Monitor tab to record and graph total data volume as well as speed.
The SNRM graph has a lot of white space on the left and right of the X axis plotting. Probably to do with the graphing plugin but I thought it worth a mention.
