Connect xbox to sky router wireless

i have changed the sky router to wep settings so both pc and laptop can be connected wireless but now trying to connect xbox,but once it gets to the section for the ip address it fails why?

Hi, I had the same problem (Sagem F@st 2504), disabled WEP security Xbox 360 connected ok, and reset WEP Xbox 360 connected no problem.
