Good question, I was about to ask. Thanks to James67 getting password/username was the easy bit, have since spent a couple of weeks failing to get my ex AOL DG834G to oblige with a Sky connection.

Tried the settings on the Sticky and rebooting/reset, even typing the password/username as someone suggested this may work when cut/copy failed.

Any suggestions other than Sky have implemented a block would be appreciated.

Re: Setup non sky router DG834g

If it is an ex AOl router your might have to change some more of the setting. In particular, the MTU, AOL use 1400, whereas Sky use 1500. I don't know if this would actually stop connection, but it could contribute.

Thanks but already changed to 1500 (from 1458) without any status change. Will see if anything else comes up and if ecow77 does not surface can try a PM.
