Having been at the mercy of DLM for the past 13 days i finally got through to somebody that understands what is going on.
Spoke with a chap in customer support who then past me onto level 3 spoke with another nice chappy, now what he said was very interesting first he did a few checks on the line nearly blow my head off with a loud buzzing noise test, said that was ok (i said what did you say head still buzzing

) but he logged a fault with BT to do some more testing at the exchange, then he said he would monitor the line for a few hours and ring me back.
Oh! No, not the i will ring you back scam.....
Anyway BT ring up later this afternoon an automated message (your line has been tested and all is working) no problems found which was strange my Line Attenuation has gone down.
Then whilst reading the forum my ADSL drops out, quickly i check me stats you could blow me down with a feather am back on good old G.DMT and my speed is back to normal next my phone rings it’s the chap from sky said he was unable to stop the DLM until the 25, but that he had moved me back to G.dmt and was able to cap the line to my speed before DLM started now when i reboot the router it will always try to connect to the cap speed instead of falling down, why they couldn’t do this from the start god only knows.
if it stays like this then i will be happy....
