Detailed stats can be got from the new V1 firmware (V1.03.87)

I must admit, I thought Sky had locked out known ways to access the detailed stats when using the new firmware but apparently not.

See here. To use, click on "DG834GT Stats".

…and no faffing around with netgear.cfg files and wordpad - it just displays the stats in the web browser.

Another one in the eye for Sky

One part of this I find very interesting, is the ability to test the actual Router speed, independent of the PC. Would this work with the newer routers? There are a few posts on the forum that could benefit from this test.

It allows you to sync. the router at a particular noise margin (db)....very nice! Good find!
