What Network card can I use to flash my Router?

I'm currently using James67's modified Firmware to make my D834GT V1 with any ISP, but I noticed the low level firmware is still Sky's

I'm wondering therefore who successfully managed to flash their router using the Netgear router and what network interface card they used to do it?

I recently reflashed using the Netgear DG834GT Recovery Utility and was successful with a computer using the Realtek RTLS139 NIC.

Ironically, I had problems when using a computer with a Netgear FA311 NIC -- the symptom being that the reflash interface display corrupted and never completed.

Would anyone be willing to post me the NIC so I can flash my router, i'll then post it back with a tip

My NICs came from computers dumped in the street -- lots also at car boot sales for a quid or less -- in fact they are cheap enough retail that it's probably not worth the hassle of borrowing one.
