Muppets Speed Test - Pipex 1Mb >>>> Sky Connect

Ordered Sky Connet on Monday (cant get Max till Jan 2007 apparently)
Currently on Pipex 1MB, they have always said that I cant get more than 1MB on my current line ><

I'm going to install an ADSL faceplate on my line where it enters the house and install my new Sky box there in an attempt to improve thing so we will see !

Anyway, here is the speedtest at present on Pipex :-

Thats similar to what i am gettting as they have never upgraded me and i pay about £24pm and was offered to upgrade to 8mb for £25 when i said i was off but declined!

The phone-jockey i spoke to when i asked for my MAC code didnt offer to upgrade change me to any package - after being with Pipex for god knows how many years.

dont suppose you know what your line stats were with pipex. Im in a similar situation to you and would like to get a rough idea of what speed ill get with Sky
