      the router that I borrowed wasn't a Sagem after all looking at it more closely it says made by Netgear and it is a slim black router with no wireless aerial on the back but I can't see a model number.

      The n router was black and silver and the hubs were a completely different design so it sounds like you had a phase 2 router.

      It would be a Netgear DG934g, which was the first 'built for Sky' router, based on the Netgear DG834g v3.
