Hello first of all I have to say this is a great forum - very informative.
Ok so I did the d/l and my d/l speed was 850kb/s at 75Mb. I am under the impression this is quite good.
I am on mid package and my stats are as follows
1.68km from exchange
con speed 8096 kbps
Line att 35db 23db
Noise margin 8.5-9db 14db
I've done the tests at
Namesco BroadbandMax ADSL Broadband Bandwidth speedtest | Test your ADSL Broadband connection speed
and the d/l usually shows approx 6810kbps +/-10 upload approx 355kbps+/-10
I have fitted the new XTE-2005 face plate from ADSL nation and also I am using a good quality ethernet cable diresct from face plate to the router.
Generally I am very happy with the speeds (far better than AOL used to be) but is there anything else I could do to squeeze every last drop of speed into my system? or am I just being greedy
