Major slow speeds on Sky connect !

I've had sky connect 8MB for almost a week now and from the word go its been slow. I was downloading a file yesterday and the download speed was 0.6KB/sec, I was astonished how slow it was going. Is there anything i can do to make it faster?

Please post the stats from the router and if possible please read through and run through both stickys in this thread and post your results. Then the others will be able to help you further.

Is that the speed you get all day? I'm on Connect also and some days its 6000kbps, others 500kbps. Check out my thread here
whhhooooshhhhhh........fail!

I have rang Sky TS who are resolving this evening by capping the line, hopefully to 4000kbps due to my line not being able to handle the data.

try a reboot of the router, ie unplug the power from it and then plug it back in and redo the test - people are reporting an increase of speed as from tonight

Yeah your right it has gona a little higher, but still below my expectations of 8MB
