      You should get a final of 9-10Mb. I assume that as you are 'in the game' your internal wiring is all up to scratch or you are running through a filtered faceplate?

      I'm plugged straight into the test socket with a D-Link splitter so hopefully my house wiring isn't having any effect. That 14dB SNR is best case unfortunately, it seems to vary wildly - down to 11 at the moment.
