      Which results are better?

At christmas I upgraded to Sky BB unlimited and also replaced my router because of a PSU failure on the old one. same model router but completey standard settings, where as on the old router, I had altered a few settings, open ports/port fowarding etc

      so Which are better results?

      Then
Connection Speed 7004 kbps 606 kbps
Line Attenuation 48.0 db 26.8 db
Noise Margin 5.0 db 17.0 db

      Now
      Connection Speed6346 kbps796 kbps
      Line Attenuation47.5 db25.9 db
      Noise Margin8.9 db11.5 db

And if the old results are better, how can I get back to them?

*edit: I am wireless, I know wired will give me better results but I believe them to be false results as I dont run wired on a normal day, so would prefer to have the results of what I will get on a normal day.

Connection Speed 7004 kbps 606 kbps
Line Attenuation 48.0 db 26.8 db
Noise Margin 5.0 db 17.0 db

Although your old download speed was higher, it was at the expense of a low noise margin. Your new speed, with a higher noise margin, may be capped, but it will be much more stable. Reboot your router and if the download speed remains the same, you are capped.

Thanks, yes I am capped, I think at just over 6Mb.

Which Im happy with if it is stable, I was uncapped before I was on unlimited and it was all over the place.

      Thanks
