call sky tell them to take you off ads2+
noise margins will drop. ur on adsl2+because ur upstream is sitting at 412 this means that ur line is set for 416/400 (400 is done through putty 416- usually lama) and ur sync is 412 i guarentie if ur get taken off adsl2+ ur snr will drop by at least 10 lower snr higher transfer rate ur line should be able to handle max delays of 8 which can often b help for speeds

put it onto gdmt and the SNR will increase as the attenuation will fall!! also, the 400 upstream can be set in either way...if at 400 it's a customer who's been with Sky over a year as the old profiles were 400 which wouls sync at 416...384 is the new ones but DLM sets line to 416 and being on adsl2+ shows it as 412...

      think you're getting confused mate...

      Re: Confused about speedtest results...

Apart from anything else, going on to G.DMT would reduce the maximum sync to 8Mb, at lot less than the 14 he was syncing at.

This is just another case of DLM training on the line. After about 10 days it will settle and can be adjusted as necessary. vmcodes should post stats from the normal position and from the Test socket for comparison, just in case the internal wiring can be improved.
