right, looking at them (those are basic stats - posting the details ones would help a bit more) it could be the simple fact the line is not capable of handling the speed (albeit 2MB) being sent down the line - hence it syncing up at 1.7MB....

do you know if you have a test socket? would help trying it there if you (see the cabling/faceplate forum for how to identify if u got one)

ok, looking at those there aren't any errors on the line - but it has only been up for 2 minutes!! you need to try and give it a good work out but id assume your a fair distance from your exchange and may benefit from a cap on the line to keep it stable

again, sync speed has gone down but errors aren't appearing at any size that should cause issues.....but u idealy need it running for a good few hours downloading some large files to get an accurate reading
