Re: Optimising your Broadband Connection

When i try the MTU test, this comes up:

Pinging [66.230.207.58] with 40 bytes ->Request Timed Out
Pinging [66.230.207.58] with 40 bytes ->Request Timed Out
Pinging [66.230.207.58] with 40 bytes ->Request Timed Out
Couldn't determine largest possible MTU due to packets being lost.
You might want to try a different URL

Anyone know how to fix this?

Sky says i can't get Sky max, nor ADSL2 yet i live 910m form the exchange with stats of

System Up Time 138:45:58
Port Status TxPkts RxPkts Collisions Tx B/s Rx B/s Up Time
WAN PPPoA 67494 87612 0 2631 11122 01:52:59
LAN 10M/100M 1316218 969412 0 2863 349 138:45:56
WLAN 11M/54M 7214075 7423694 0 7855 2007 138:45:46

ADSL Link Downstream Upstream

this optimiser does improve quality in some areas though.

@Arsenal4Ever

Please stop peppering the forum with your posts about the same thing - I've already had to merge 2 threads you started.

Read the response I gave to you earlier. Your poor connection is down to your line condition which is something you need to deal with following the advice given in the cabling and faceplate help forum.
