This forum has been hacked (Now Resolved)

This forum has been hacked with a redirect hack which sends people to various sites including the one in the title.
This happens when you do a Google or other search engine search and click on a link to the www.skyuser.co.uk
      www.google.com/search?q=site:www.skyuser.co.uk
and is a known exploit of vBulletin powered boards.
I found more info on it here http://www.webhostchat.co.uk/busines...ct-google.html
Just Google it: Vbulletin redirecting to filestore72.info

Hope this is of some help to the admins

I got this when trying to access this board using Firefox (latest).

      Deceptive Site!

This web page at Sky User has been reported as a deceptive site and has been blocked based on your security preferences.

Deceptive sites are designed to trick you into doing something dangerous, like installing software, or revealing your personal information, like passwords, phone numbers or credit cards.

Entering any information on this web page may result in identity theft or other fraud.

Using IE to access this board, although very slow I did manage to access the board.

I also got that message. You can still access it though if you untick the Security Option - Block dangerous and deceptive content - though I suggest you put it back again when you're done.

re: This forum has been hacked (Now Resolved)

Google has now given it the all clear, and we have patched against the issue.

Sorry for any inconvenience. Its an old issue which appears to have risen its head again.

Re: This forum has been hacked (Now Resolved)

I have just upgraded to a more recent version of vBulletin, so hopefully fully patched, however it looks like this file redirect thing is in a new phase so I will keep monitoring it etc

      Sorry for any inconvenience.
