That is definitely weird, as V2 is not the default skin, so if not logged in and no cookies, there is no way I can see that it could do that, as it is selectable etc

I wouldn't worry, it's more likely a problem my end with something lingering from days of old.

I've had this laptop about 2 years..... when did we change to v3?

Well it isn't related to ASC. Just had yet another reset/forced re-sign in.

V4 will be coming in a few months.

It can only be a cookie issue, that's how this software works.

No problem. I had guessed that it would be, just that something has changed and suddenly I am having to sign in more frequently. I was hoping that perhaps you'd may a change to how long it stays current.

I've rebooted my laptop, normally I just let it 'Sleep'.

...honest it does get some sleep.

I guess it could be another IE9 issue.

Not changed nothing since I stopped the server from crashing. Promise.

My money is on it being IE9 related.
I tried the piece of poo software and it did the same with me.
Reverted to 8 and I havnt had to login for yonks.

Hmmm... I think you are probably right Dave.

Shame really since I've been getting familiar with IE9 since it was placed on general release.

Today hasn't been as bad as it was over the weekend, but I had to switch off for a while whilst a friend was visiting.

...and before anyone suggests other browsers, I should point out that I have a library of favourites that I have accumulated over a number of years that I have copied from previous PCs on here. I don't really want to lose them.

I'm pretty sure most of the big name alternatives will let you import your favorites. Tbh tho, I've tried most off them and I just dont get on with them, IE8 works for me and I dont have any problems with it so I always seem to revert to it.
