Question New sky user (getting installed tomorrow)

I am getting broadband and sky+ hd fitted in our living room and the multiroom option which is being fitted into the bedroom.I have been told by an experienced sky user that if i want to record films on to the dvd recorders in each room I will need a macrovision lead for each. he also said that I should also request to have anytime plus activated in my broadband service as this will allow me to get the sky back catalogue on my tv using the remote without having to connect a pc or laptop.
Is this correct and is there anything else I should know?Any help would be appreciated.

The Sky+ boxes record and store the programs. You can then copy them from there on to a DVD recorder or HDD recorder using a scart cable. There is no need for special cables.

You enable Anytime+ by going to your account online and adding Anytime+, the installer cannot do it for you. It is free. The HD box must be connected to your router, either by an ethernet cable or a wireless sender.

If you are getting multi room, both boxes must be permanently connected to an active phone line.
