It was decided to lock one of the other topics regarding the hacking the router to try and encourage staff from sky to contirbute to this board

has sky been approached to do this or is it the case they have not provided a response.

i know from one of the other adsl forums that very rare is it for a member of the isp company go onto the forum to try and sort peoples problems out.

The problems that crops up most is the lack of communication between the isp and the end consumer. mosty people i think would appreacite to know whats going on at regular intervals rather than be passed from pillar to post

SKY have been invited to contribute on here, and if they do decide to, they will be welcomed and it will not be allowed for other members to abuse them. The decision to lock the thread concerning the router hacking is because this site does not condone the actions therein. The router should be used as supplied, the only modifications to it being the settings accessible as supplied.

Yep they have been asked to join us, no reply tho, apart from a member of staff at Easynet, to let us know it had been forwarded to the relevant person.

Unofficially Sky / Easynet staff have already joined as members, however they have asked to remain anonymous, which we will respect.

We have done everything we can to get an Official representative onboard, to no avail, however we have been approached by AOL for other reasons

help??

I probally know the answer but thought it might be worth asking. Can any of the 'Sky staff' discreetly look as to why my activation didn't go ahead on the 7th and for reasons I can't fathom, I seemingly now have to wait to re-sign until 11th October?

Unable to get any straight forward answers or get through the layers of departments - all in all very puzzling

Andrew

Hi Anil

I would wait til you are connected and see what problems if any you have, then ask again.
