      SMTP - still down for me...

      Hi:

      Followed the earlier thread re' the SMTP sever issue; but it's still not working for me...

      When I attempt to send mail (Outlook using my BT account as send/receive effectively) while I can receive - cannot send. Get the user-name/password dialogue. User-name is there (and correct but it won't accept my password)

      Am I missing something here?

      Hopefully a resolution can be offered (please)? I can obviously still access/send mail via BT-Yahoo entry portal; but via Outlook is my preference...

      Will be on-line briefly around noon (Saturday) and then not again until late Monday afternoon...

      Other conections are going through, can i ask you to double check your settings again please.

      Hi, I had same problem yesterday and wrongly entered my user name and password for my incoming mail. This obviously meant the problem continued! having entered the correct user/pass my emails are now sending ok. suggest you re-check to make sure your outgoing user/pass entered is correct.

      ummm Thank you for reply...

      I think (I KNOW) I have forgotten my password for the smtp server part of it all.. Did have it stored "somewhere" (and a full how to set everything up to use my BT email account via Outlook with Sky -DSL etc...) but can I find it - is there "lyfe" after death?

      How does one recover the password details?

      Help (please)
