Display of Forum Pages

When the browser window width is such that the menu bar wraps, e.g. pushing New Posts and Search onto a second line, the left hand bar (SU Member & Quick Links) moves right ca. 45mm in Firefox 3.5.

Please see attached screen shot.

This does not happen in Firefox 3.0.11 or IE8, although in these circumstances the bar starts too high (partially obscuring the menu line) in all browsers I have tried.

It is irritating to have to scroll right each time a new Sky User Forum page is displayed.

Re: Display of Forum Pages

Is this any better now?

I have rolled back a change I made yesterday.

Re: Display of Forum Pages

The problem has been fixed for normal usage because the width of the menu bar has been reduced and so there is no wrap, i.e. the problem does not arise with a normal browser window width.

However, when the window width is reduced to ca. 235 mm / 1050 px the left hand bar still shifts to leave a wide left hand margin.

Apologies for delay in replying, but I was not around this afternoon.

Re: Display of Forum Pages

No worries. I had added an extra link in the header for the Broadband Exchange Checker, this must have been just that little bit too much
