Nothing to do with the issue posted, I've seen it happen too on this site using Opera with the ads mentioned. For some reason it would run the CPU at 100% and basically stop everything else in the browser working.

I have posted before about how annoying the large square
      bloody red Virgin advertisements are.
So I am please to note that on this and other sites the pure blood red
      is now overlayed with black.
No longer annoying, clearly still the Virgin brand,
and if anything the ads are enhanced.

Not that I'd touch Virgin with a barge pole.

Now I notice that Sky have moved from a beautiful blue
      to a hideous pink.
Don't designers know men are more likely to be colour blind and have
      issues with reds and greens.

This must explain the problems men have at traffic lights
      and at F1 racing.

      Brilliant.
There have been issues with browsers and my brother did get a similar problem - Have you tried using firefox?

After this was posted i checked and, it's correct, whenever the Sky ad with the snowflakes appears the CPU usage shoots up to 100% whilst using IE7.

I drove into the back of that red Ferrari
